Building a scalable, accessible design foundation for a high-traffic e-commerce platform.
Designing for a large-scale e-commerce platform in the electronics and technology sector requires more than visual consistency — it demands accessibility, responsiveness, and a system that can scale across a wide and diverse audience. As the platform continued to grow, ensuring a cohesive experience while meeting accessibility and usability standards became a key priority.
In this project, during the period of 2020 - 2021, I focused on strengthening the design foundation by applying design system principles, accessibility best practices, and responsive patterns across the experience. My work included creating mockups and interactive prototypes, validating solutions through user testing, and defining clear guidelines and documentation to support consistent implementation across teams. The result was a more compliant, scalable, and user-friendly experience that improved both usability and long-term maintainability.
